Bitcoin SV is a descendant of the original Bitcoin blockchain. In 2018, Bitcoin Cash (itself a descendant of the original Bitcoin blockchain) went through a fork and the Bitcoin SV blockchain was created. This new version of Bitcoin was built to be incredibly fast, handle lots of applications and most importantly allowed for smartcontracts using Bitcoin - a concept that had previously only existed in alternative blockchains like Ethereum.
Bitcoin SV is another iteration of the Bitcoin blockchain. It was founded by Craig Wright who has claimed to be the original author of the Bitcoin blockchain whitepaper, Satoshi Nakamoto. Bitcoin SV adopts many of the unique properties of other, more modern chains. By involving concepts like smart-contracts and digital property, Bitcoin SV is hoping to become the world's most popular token. Given popularity in and adoption of other blockchains we have doubts if this project will truly take off.
